Ichnuemonids and Detroit

An interesting piece by columnist George F. Will using Darwin's descriptions of Ichneumonid parasitoid wasps (one species of which happens to attack our lab's study species, Manduca sexta) as a metaphor for government employee's unions living off a host - in this case, the beleaguered city of Detroit. Though I can't get on board the political message, I'm thrilled with the awesome nerdy-science-metaphor.
